Dr. Bill Carmichael is a co-founder of Deep River Books. He has a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Santa Clara, and a honorary doctorate by Corban University, recognizing his contributions to Christian publishing. He was also given a Lifetime Achievement Award from Vanguard University, where he did undergraduate work. In addition, Bill has served on the board of directors of the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association.

She co-edited the 2014 UNESCO World Book Capital project: 100 Years around Port Harcourt. A professionally trained communicator, she holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing, masters in banking and finance, and an MBA in oil & gas management from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen.
holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology and currently works at the World Bank Project Monitoring Unit of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Abuja. A strong advocate for diligence and hard work, she is involved in Contract Administration and Project Management of Donor Agency funded projects. Her professional interests focus on research and development of strategies that strengthen procurement processes and ensure client satisfaction. In addition, she serves a member of the Board of Trustees for Prisenda Writers Residency.
Uche Izuora is the founder and President of His-Sickles International Mission, a ministry committed to world missions, with youth discipleship and empowerment as its core thrust. His service in the missions enterprise began in Sudan, now South Sudan, in 2005.
The current insecurities in South Sudan has the ministry operating from the West Nile region of Uganda from 2016, where he and the ministry continue to bring the Kingdom of Jesus Christ to South Sudanese refugees via psychosocial and educational support, with other transformational endeavours around the region.
Uche’s passion for education inspired the birth of www.greaterhopeproject.org, which is an educational model designed specifically for schools within a refugee camp environment; aimed at facilitating the delivery of instruction and hope to these needy people. Hundreds of South Sudanese refugee children in Rhinocamp Uganda are currently benefiting from this vision.
Though a computer scientist by training, Uche has a profound appreciation for the literary arts and believes that books, education and the school environment are key infrastructures for birthing national transformation and ensuring Christ’s Kingdom advancement in this generation.
