The Prisenda Writers Residency Initiative (PWRI) is a not for profit organisation established to promote literacy. 

We seek to foster reading culture, encourage creative writing and develop intellectual
expressions. Through literary engagements, partnerships and sponsorships; the PWRI has joined the global
cause in addressing education. The PWRI provides writers and experts with creative, strategic, intellectual and conducive environment

School Tours

Prisenda partnered with Universal Basic Education Board (UBEB) on a tour of selected schools in the six educational zones of Abuja. We anticipate more school tours for other Nigerian regions and continentally in Africa.

Budding Authors Program

A literacy initiative of Prisenda is its Budding Authors Program (BAP). We value the bright future of every child. We understand the power of creativity when discovered and fully harnessed to add value to the society. 

Book Donations and Mini Libraries

Mini libraries are set up for nominated schools and books of various authors that are relevant to students’ needs are donated. Interested schools are required to apply, and assessments will be carried out before the arrival of books.

The Reading Room

With its library and modern office facilities, it is conducive for reading, research and strategic engagements.

The Residency

The Residency has full lodging amenities, and an ambiance that would beckon on creativity and dreams waiting for their full expression.

The Meeting Room

The meeting room is available upon reservations, for literary engagements, strategic sessions, trainings and workshops.
